‘The Dark Stones’

Since returning from her Artist Residency in Iceland, Sue has continued to explore new themes and experiment with materials and processes. The introduction of printmaking techniques and stencilling has been a feature of a new, resolved body of work for exhibition at the Royal Adelaide Hospital from October 2 - November 25. Iceland. NES Artist Residency, 2020.

In January, 2020 Sue undertook a two month artist residency in Skagastrond, Iceland. The remote, north westerly, coastal fishing village offered her a unique opportunity to immerse herself in the breathtakingly beautiful landscape where experimental processes were explored.
